Thanks BD. I have a lot to learn...I've been very hesitant on Barbers. So much elmo out there. I don't want to spend a lot of $$ on these but I would like a uniform circulated look.

Barber CirCams would look great here, no...

Two more gold $20's to complete the gold section sans the wire and rolled edge $10's. (mebbe the $10 Indian Wire Edge someday.)

Let me welcome barndog to the ol' grumpy collectors club. And he is usually right on the mark.

that's what I would see every single time I looked at that coin, making it a "no thanks"

plus, it is a matter of knowing the target audience. CR wants a really worn, perfect circam example to commemorate the evil Chas. Barber in his set.

I try and buy gem circs sometimes. I said gem, not circ Cam. I call every rim ding damage. Others
including the big j don't seem to have a problem. I don't care if it is low grade I avoid when I see it.

I compromise on smoe coins (I collect by die marriage and remarriage, I have to if I wish to ever complete the collection). Common stuff, no compromise

I don't go near Barber coinage as I can't stand the design but I wouldn't buy those if I did, I have the same objections that BD has.

Highly approved.

I don't get the Barber hate. A nice circulated Barber is a good-looking coin.
