It was 71 in the hall this morning. I thought it a bit chilly but my back is trying to go out and maybe I was just feeling testy about that. I debated turning it up 1 degree just to make the heater go on and create a slight warming sensation but then I realized it would only be wasting money so I left it alone. I went to the bathroom then and it didn't seem as cold in there but then it's a separate little sort of alcove thing so it doesn't accurately reflect the temp in the larger part of the bedroom to which it is attached.
Now, at my computer, it seems pretty pleasant if only a bit on the cool side which I attribute to the season and the shortening of the days with its accompanying overall cooler feeling.
I don't know how better to tell you interested people what it feels like exactly, but you can probably gather that it is smoething that happens every year and creates the quandary of running the heater or not.
If you need more details, please feel free to PM me and I'll try to make the whole subject a bit clearer.

This is unlike any Rollo post I've ever read.

Rollo thinks he should stop writing altogether before he starts referring to himself in the third party.

Buy a Nest for $250. It will pay for itself in a couple of hundred years.

Mine will be on for a while it looks like.
The 80 degree temps aren't too bad but the humidity with it is miserable.

When I arrived in Ft. Lee, VA the humidity was awful.
They said it would take 3 weeks to acclimate.
They were right. Almost exactly. 3 weeks and didn't even bother me. dunno:

Generally about June 10th. Last year it was at 2:33 PM.

I'll know better when the Farmers Almanac arrives.

I just checked and am out of filters so I will have to go buy smoe more to get ready for the upcoming winter. People often overlook their filters in their HVAC systems so I do not want to be one of those unprepared people.
