assassining? Or the suppressors?

I like these better than the one I had years ago for my .380 PPK. The GM-22 made it pretty easy to shoot the Rugers (SR22 and Mark IV) without hearing protection. Just means more shooting!

I haven't tried the GM-45 yet, as I need to install the threaded barrel on one of my SW 1911s. Once the shower is done in the master bath (total re-do), I will be able to get smoe barrel work done. Just no time to make sure I do it right with other project in the way.

Supposedly, there is no need to fire the .45 suppressor wet. I am dubious, but my FFL guy assures me that's a thing of the past. We shall see.

Is that why you're trying to get the shower done? You thought you had to fire it wet?

picked up smoe CCI subsonic ammo (about 700 fps). So slow it won't cycle the slide on the Ruger Mark IV, but it is fuddernutter noiseless! TV noiseless. Until it hits the steel.

Just a thought, but I'd try the recoil spring.
Get a new one and cut it down to the same length as the existing one when it is compressed.

Or....maybe better yet..... get a new one and cut it down progressively. It still has to be able to strip a round from the mag, but a weaker spring might let the subsonic function.

or try Majestic Arms as they have almost everything for the Ruger Mk series pistols.

You're welcome. And let me know if it works.

I use ONLY std velocity CCI to keep the noise down a BIT.
My ears got WRECKED last year from that turd using a ported rifle on the bench next to me and ignoring the rule to shoot PORTED junk through the PROVIDED concrete culvert sections.

I shoot my SCAR 17 (ported/side diverted like a mother fuddernutter er) away from others. If they choose to move to a spot next to me (when at a range), that's just stupidity that I'm not responsible for.

Of course I was!
Same brand as the range officer.

It was DOPO who came after ME.

and broke the rules by not using the PROVIDED sound pipes!

Dunno what he was using as my hearing didn't quit for 11 hours after I got home.

If it wasn't the hassle, I'd sue the range.
