Second or third straight time.

Exterior was tough when it should have been soft.

Restaurant is generally very consistent on quality.

Will skip ordering it on the next visit.

Best not to say much at a sushi place. Just bow, smile and pay the bill.

Here's a tip.

Avoid Rubino's in Rocklin. We went there last night on the reco of a LIVERMORE neighbor.

They consider Dago food to be pasta with ketchup.

The veal parmigiana was tougher than getting a nude selfie from OTS on the OFR.

TRULY lousy. Except it did stay with me all goddam night. Trying its best to be digestible.

Real restaurants don't serve tofu.

I don't mind the center cuts of tofu, but the outer parts are too fatty.

It had never occurred to me that people actually ordered tofu, and willingly paid money for it. Fun fact about tofu - virtually every soybean today is grown from Monsanto genetically modified seeds. The modification makes them resistant to Roundup(TM) so farmers can spray it directly on the soybeans.

The only time I have tofu is when I get Hot & Sour soup from Lee's Panda Garden. Jeezus, that soup is awesome. Eats the enamel right offa her teeth and makes it hurt to rub your uppers against your lowers

The large bowl of wonton soup at the old Lotus Garden restaurant was superb. Paired with a couple of eggrolls made a fine dinner.

Been nearly 40 years. Wonder if they are still around?
