I have not yet managed to cut a finger off with that knife but its been close.

No. Using "THE" to describe highways is something that only occurs south of Santa Barbera.

Saying THE 680 indicates to everyone that you are an outsider.

Anyway, you are better off moving to the owens valley. The weather will be more familiar to you.
