You could die and whoever you leave it to could sell it with an "at death" cost basis, sell and pay no tax.

Or you could "die." :wink: :wink:

But that's REALLY tricky.

You are forgiven my son. Those were only the Cliff's Notes. When you're moving upper eight to nine figure state pension money, they want to know at what time the company principals take a piss.

Starting at $34 and continuing on to $40. And then I realized that I’d be paying $800k in taxes and if there was some way to hold on another 11 months then I’d save $400k. But I do want those profits - the whole point of buying it in the first place was to generate extra funds for the house.

Stock guys - any suggestions on how to lock in the profit and also hold to a year and save some of those taxes?

The Man has put in place a lot of issues that makes this situation a true conundrum.

I was always skeered to try swinging for the fences with lower volume things.
But they're the only ones you CAN try it on.

Me, I'd pay the tax.

As a side note....
Just my observations, this sector has put a lot of holdings through the roof but I don't see this
wave reaching the beach a year from now.

That analogy for the Hawaii boys :D

"Chode" :lol:

Heh.....

Yep...he should be HAPPY to pay those taxes. They are for government services that he supports, as the great liberal he is. I can't believe he is trying to avoid those taxes and let others continue to pay HIS fair share for the EBT cards, DACA programs, heroin injection points (Seattle is trying to push these through), etc.

Yawn. I intend to pay every dollar due. I’d say quit being a turd but I know it’s your nature...
