Take a hearing test. Crank your speakers and put your ear next to it at the higher frequencies.

Uncle Sam bought me a $7,000 pair of hearing aids. Their contribution for my loss of hearing incurred during involuntary servitude with the Army.

I never wear them. That really pisses off my wife who has to repeat herself, and is kept awake by the loud TV.

That's a couple of good reasons not to wear them. :)

I visited my parents today. Don't know what frequency it was but I could hear my moms hearing aids squealing constantly.

The test is, if you hear voices in your head, you are faking.

If you hear voices coming from a light socket or a TV that is turned off, you are truly nuts.

Remember that for future reference when you get hauled in.

I used to be able to hear the 15.7 kHz shriek of a televisions flyback transformer.

Today, I can't hear past 13 kHz.

and my nuts.
