It's going to be a two way race between Cruz and Rubio. Trump will still make some noise, but it won't matter. And all the one pointers should stop mucking up the works and just call it quits.

Jeb has 59 million to put in the pond, at least spend the money first. Trump wants to bang his daughter, did you here that jerk. I think his son's work suck his sack if he said so. That poor Rubio just paid off his college loans, but would look good as the Mexican, Latino vote. And Cruz said his dad came here from Cuba with a 100 bill in his underware. Washed dishes for .50 cents and hour, and is now a preacher. How the hell did this guy end up in Harvard and Princeton. We had to get it stuck in our ass somehow. I hate everyone.

Next please

Trump's only chance has been, and still is, that the field sticks around a long time. Assuming that the also-rans aren't in this to get Trump nominated, I assume that they'll all drop out after New Hampshire, unless one of them pulls a yuge upset and actually wins it.

In the modern primary era, only Bill Clinton in 1992 has lost both Iowa and New Hampshire and gotten the nomination and he lost Iowa to an Iowa Senator and New Hampshire to a Senator from neighboring Massachusetts. If I was a betting man I'd lay money on that happening again this year: Iowa goes to Cruz, NH goes to Trump, and the nomination goes to Rubio. I'm not looking to take that bet, but if I had to, that's what I'd bet on.

Totally disagree except what you said about the the one pointers.

Trump was never going to win Iowa, and Iowa winners haven't exactly done well in recent years (ie Huckabee and Santorum). And what does Cruz get exactly for winning, one more delegate than Trump? So what?

It's TRUMP TIME! :D

Have to give Trump props to have survived Iowa's messed up system.

From what I gather at least on the dem side, you've got to have a boots on the ground operation up to speed and in virtually every precinct to keep it from getting it stolen (legally) out from under you. I.e. Hillary scooping up all O'Malley's people who weren't "viable" by turncoating and pretending to be O'malley supporters to reach the viability threshold then moving into Clinton delegates.

But anyway, just 1 delegate down with a strong wind at his back. I'll take Trumps chances. He rolls from here on out.

Trumps first time out and he comes in a close 2nd in Iowa. Sadly we cant rule him out yet. I used to like Rubio but after him saying the illegals can stay there is no way in hell will I vote for him now.

Its a shame that conservatives have no place in the republican party. Scratch that, their place is in the back of the bus. This is the last shot we have. If Cruz doesnt take this, the republican party dies because conservatives will split. They already lost me and every presidential election they lose more.

Mitt Romney
John McCain
George W. Bush
Bob Dole
George H. Bush

No more moderate liberal here kitty kitties. George H. Bush was the last presidential candidate I voted for and I regretted that. Ill stick with the local elections.

Trump is toast?

Rubio? Cruz? Not a chance in hell

Then say a big hello to President Bernie Sanders!

The GOP once again manages to implode

Mark my words. Trump ain't going to be the nominee. New Hampshire will be his last gasp performance. Record turnout, (by a wide margin), in Iowa which - according to the political geniuses - was supposed to help him, and it didn't. He under performed his poll numbers, and Rubio over performed his by a wide margin.

Two man race, Cruz and Rubio.

Sanders won't be the nominee. Even though he nearly beat Hillary in Iowa, the democrat system gives her 385, (including super delegates), and him only 29. It will be the same with most of the other primaries. Clinton will be the nominee and the fact that she's getting a scare from a socialist makes it very clear that she is beatable in November by either Cruz or Rubio. Just like nobody wants another Bush in office, nobody wants another Clinton as long as there is a viable alternative.

In primary states, he's got a real shot. Trump is up 20+ in NH. He's also up 16 in SC, but he'll probably lose in Nevada as it's another caucus state.

It will all come down to Super Tuesday, and Trump is not only not toast but he's not even a warm roll right yet.

Trump is plenty warm and by super Tuesday he'll be popping up nice and crispy.

He was up in Iowa until the only poll that matters happened last night.

Um, Iowa is a caucus state, and Trump has no ground game. That's why he'll lose those.

He'll win a couple of the primary states - maybe - but that will be it. The establishment money will now be showered upon Rubio, and Cruz has much broader appeal among the hardcore, (those who actually turnout in primaries), than Trump regardless of what the polls currently indicate.

It's amazing how close it was with all the cheating Hillary did.

Reports out that Jeb spent $14 million on ads in Iowa and didn't even muster 3%. That's nearly $3,000 per vote. :

As of Tuesday, the super PAC has spent at least $14 million in Iowa, $26.5 million in New Hampshire and $9.5 million in South Carolina.
