I was wise enough to pass.

Habaneros are plenty hot.

I grew a bunch one year. Still have plenty of seeds if I ever want to plant them again... which at this point I don't want to.

This year I grew red savinas, Habraneros, scotch bonnets, Thai chilies, Seranos, sapporos, Chiltepins, bird peppers, and willie's cayenne. Damm cardinal birds attacked my tepins and bird peppers.

Tabasco is just the right amount of heat for me. And they dry very easily with nothing but sun. Habenero is a little too strong (and doesn't dry naturally here). And Jalapeño, especially the hybrid giant type don't have enough heat.
Tabasco might even be a touch high on the meter, but since I make powder it can always be cut with bell or whatever.
Just eating raw peppers though a guy can't beat Jalapeño imo.

Ghost would only be for law enforcement supply? or home defense, but a reasonable use for some.

Jalapenos are hit or miss on the heat scale. I usually buy Serrano's for every day use. They are generally of consistent quality.
