I decided that I'd try cooking things I'd never cooked before, so I bought smoe asparagus. It came out edible. I don't even like the stuff very much, so it's hard to tell if I cooked it right or not. bluelaugh:

Not my favorite veggie, a lot of people prefer it over all. Probably more important to pick it right than to cook it right. I like it pickled, a good addition to a bloody Mary.

I drizzle a bit of olive oil on it, wrap in foil, toss on the grill for a few minutes. Good stuff. Katy can eat half a pound of the stuff

I love it. I just put it in a covered dish with a small amount of water and microwave it. Drive the juice that's left. Then enjoy the smell of your pee later.

pro tip:

Cut them into segments. Bases take longer to cook than tips.

So cut 'em and cook the bases for a few minutes longer than the tips. It'll all be perfect.
